25mm – 9mm X 1m Tapered Carbon Boom

This 100 cm long lightweight carbon fiber boom tapers from 25.5 mm diameter to 8.5 mm diameter, with a wall thickness of 0.3 mm. It is made from high modulus carbon fiber wound onto a tapered form, encased in an epoxy matrix, and cured at high temperature. This high quality carbon boom (hollow tapered tube) is extremely rigid and strong, yet only weighs 26.0 g.

If cut down to less than the 90 cm limit for a legal UK Royal Mail postal tube this item will be sent by first class post, or Airmail post for overseas orders. If left full length it will be sent by courier, increasing the delivery cost.

This beautiful boom fits the AVA Pro and the AVA Classic pod, and is a lighter and longer replacement of the Vladimir’s Models original. Suitable for use with AVA V mounts. Can also be used with the Kristoffair M2A-e Electric glider fuselage pod.
